Crude, vulgar humor; sexual humor; political humor
Shock writing, just for the sake of being shocking, is of absolutely no value here. Moreover, it’s something that’s used as “comedy” usually because the ability to create actual comedy is non-existent or poorly developed. And today’s political “humor” has degenerated from the genuine comedy of decades ago into a tool simply to demean and express contempt for people one disagrees with. Warm Fuzzies FLA! seeks to bring people together through humorous takes on our various shared fandoms.
The Level of our Comedy:
To be clear, our show is not specifically aimed at young children. We are, after all, not Bubble Guppies or Paw Patrol. Further, our show will occasionally address R-rated subjects — although not via R-rated comedy — such as Alien (1979) or The Thing (1982). Our audience members will likely range from mid-teen to senior. All that being said (and typed), our comedy can at least broadly be considered to be family-friendly.
What you will find here:
Nerd- and geek-centric pop culture comedy which covers the broad range of science fiction, horror, fantasy, comic book and animated movies and television shows. Topics can range from 1920s-era silent classics such as The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Nosferatu up to today’s high-gloss superhero movies from Marvel and DC, and everything in between. You’ll find something here that you like (even if it’s only every seventeenth episode or so).
